Programme profile


This course combines a traditional physics degree with additional specialist courses in medical physics. Medical physics involves the application of physics and physical methods to problems in medicine. Medical physicists play an essential role in diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and radiological safety.

Entry Requirements


Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. The other subjects must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects must include: English, Mathematics, a Laboratory Science subject and a language other than English.
